Comfort Food – Made Healthy or Not!
Chicken Pot Pie – the same creamy delicious tummy loving dish but made with low fat ingredients that cut down the fat and calories in half!
Turkey Vegetable Meatloaf – ground turkey (or beef if you prefer) mixed with chopped mushrooms, zucchini, onions and red peppers topped with a spicy tomato sauce, serve with mashed potatoes made light and peas and carrots.
Vegetable Lasagna – layers of pasta with spinach, zucchini and carrots – topped with low-fat mozzarella – you will never know the difference.
Garlic and Herb Grilled Chicken – the longer this chicken marinates the better. It is made so it is ready for you to grill – or, if you prefer, we can grill or broil it for you and you can heat it up. Put it together with a healthy salad and some crunchy bread – wonderful.
London Broil with Herbs and Garlic and Herb Sauce – we chop up fresh herbs and garlic, coat the outside of a London broil and then sear it to seal in the juices, it is then finished off in the oven to your desired doneness and served with a garlic and herb sauce.
Quick Meals On The Go
Sloppy Joe Squares – imagine eating a sloppy joe that isn’t sloppy. These squares can be picked up like a brownie and not drip everywhere – great for running out the door.
Strombolli – this is a great kid favorite. An inside pizza cut into slices; serve it up with a salad and you’ve got a meal.
Chicken Tenders – freshly made real chicken tenders – your children are going to love them. What’s even better is that they can heat these little morsels up themselves. (We can also do this with fish!)
Chicken Salad with Fruit – have you ever had chicken salad with grapes and walnuts? Well, if you haven’t, you’re missing something. This can’t go in the freezer, but it is so yummy that it won’t last – moot point.
Entertaining Made Easy
Crispy Shrimp with Orange Ginger Couscous – your guests don’t need to know you didn’t prepare dinner – wow them with this incredible dish that is not only great to look at but very healthy!
Filet of Sole Florentine – this dish has been tweaked and tested and now it is perfect – a low fat filling of spinach, ricotta and fresh tomatoes is encased with a delicate piece of lemon sole – serve with steamed haricot verde – gorgeous!
Beef Filets Stuffed with Blue Cheese Topped with a Sherry Sauce – want to impress your guests – serve with a medley of sweet potatoes and Yukon gold potatoes and mushrooms.
Mediterranean Chicken Packets – these foil bundles are great – chock full of spinach, olives, onions, tomatoes, garlic and feta cheese all married with a wonderful Greek dressing. Place them on the grill or let us bake them for you –makes for a fun presentation as everyone opens their own packet of deliciousness!
Dietary Restricted Ideas – I understand about food allergies, my son is allergic to milk and eggs so I truly get it. My goal is to help provide tasty meals that are healthy and nutritious while still maintaining your dietary needs.
Vegetable Lasagna – believe it or not, I have created a delicious lasagna that has no eggs or milk in it – did you ever think it could be?
Chicken Tenders – yep – we can do these too – can also substitute with fish – you will never know the difference and neither will others that don’t know what you are serving!
Chocolate Cake – this cake is fabulous and the smile you will get from someone who has allergies will be worth it – who ever thought chemistry could make food taste good!
